Our commitment
Markydot will run its business in a way that minimises negative environmental impact and contributes positively to society. Sustainability is integrated into how we choose suppliers, design services and develop our organisation.
Environment and climate
- We choose registrars, DNS, email and certificate partners with a clear climate strategy and renewable energy in operations.
- We use Anycast networks and efficient caching to reduce global data traffic and energy use.
- We measure and review the climate footprint of our operations and actively look for reductions.
- Travel happens digitally whenever possible; necessary in-person meetings are planned in a climate-aware way.
Digital sustainability
Properly configured domains, email and certificates do not only reduce risk, they also cut unnecessary traffic and failed deliveries. We see proactive brand protection and technical hygiene as part of digital sustainability.
